Serious collision at Rowville

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a two car collision that left a 48-year-old man with life threatening injuries in Rowville last night.

It is believed that a white BMW sedan was travelling west on Wellington Road when it collided with a Honda sedan travelling north bound on Stud Road around 10pm.

The Rowville man, driving the Honda, was taken to The Alfred hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the BMW, a 28-year-old Rowville woman was taken to The Alfred hospital with spinal injuries.

Police from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are currently on scene.
