Fire damages top floor of two storey Lysterfield house

16th August 2013

The cause of a fire that damaged a house in Lysterfield last night is yet to be determined.

About 40 CFA firefighters attended the fire at the two-storey home in The Croft at 8.50pm.
It took them about 40 minutes to bring the flames under control.

No one was home at the time, CFA spokeswoman Andrea Brown said.

But she said the rear of the home's upper storey suffered significant damage.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined but Ms Brown said it did not seem to be suspicious.
